Katayoun presents "Belly Dance Props" Workshop! You will become introduced to the most popular belly dance props: veil, zills (finger cymbals), sword, assaya (cane), wings of Isis, tray of candles. Katayoun will share her unique approach to each prop, which incorporates culturally relevant concepts for authentic and creative Middle Eastern styling. PLUS, you will have an opportunity to try out each prop and get an overview of the concepts and skills vital to practicing and performing with them.
