Adriana is an accomplished teacher, choreographer, professional dancer, make-up artist, and costumer. Over the past 40 years, her artistry has dazzled audiences at the White House, the Kennedy Center, embassies, countless charities and nightclubs throughout the country. Adriana trained for many years in classical Russian ballet, jazz, modern dance, African, flamenco, and classical Indian and Spanish dance as well as Middle Eastern dance. With this extensive background, she synthesized her own unique style of dance. She is a consummate professional, whether she is teaching a dance class or putting on a show.
ARTEMIS Artemis has taught classes, workshops and private lessons in all aspects of belly dancing from A to Z locally and in 36 states and 12 countries. Latifa is a sought-after dance educator who shares her passion for Middle Eastern dance, history and culture with enthusiastic students of all levels through weekly classes at Latifa’s School of Middle Eastern Dance in Millersville, Maryland, and through focused private lessons in Severna Park. A protegee of the late Ibrahim Farrah, Latifa teaches Oriental and folkloric dance of the Arab world. In addition, Latifa occasionally teaches workshops, and she directs a 15-dancer troupe, Banat al-Beled.
